My Background
My own life path to mental wellness and personal development has inspired me to share my findings with others so that they can enjoy the gifts which I have been given in the therapy, training and mentorship I have received. I have worked as a school counsellor, child and family practitioner for families affected by sexual violence and have been in private practice working with clients of all ages since 2010. I have also lectured at UCS in Bury St Edmunds on counselling children and have run training courses for my fellow practitioners on a variety of subjects.
During the covid lock down I was forced to take my practice as a therapist online and outdoors. I was so impressed and heartened by how much my clients seemed to benefit from working with me in nature. This inspired me to train in ecopsychology with Natural Academy. This two year journey gave me a chance to experience the healing power of nature first hand as I immersed myself in the training which took place in wild landscapes across England, Scotland & Wales. Here I found that I was not merely connected with Nature, I was remembering that I am nature and that humans beings have forgotten this due to the pressures of living a modern disconnected life.
